Chương trình có thể trích ra âm thanh, hình ảnh, các đoạn clip từ các film Flash. SWF Decomplier còn có thể biên dịch lại các đoạn mã và chuyển chúng thành dạng code có thể đọc được.

Sau khi đã cài đặt Sothink SWF Decompiler, một nút nhấn nhỏ Decomplier sẽ xuất hiện trên thanh toolbar của Internet Explorer. Khi bạn duyệt các trang Web có chứa flash, click vào nút Decomplier hoặc nhấp chuột phải chọn "Sothink SWF Decompiler" để tải file Flash về.
